Holly Freeman Profile"Holly scours the streets of London in her flat-bed truck, ripping up what she can find. Metal, plastic, paper, wood. Everything is used, nothing is sacred, nothing is refused. Recycling society's waste back into mashed up snapshots of today's world. True punk ethos in our disposable world, full of social commentary and fascinating menace, Holly's work is in the present and firmly rooted in the streets."
Holly was born in Hong Kong, has a father who was responsible for the art and design of the first five album covers of the Beatles, and owns a workshop in Tooting called HOLLYSWOOD. A brief insight into the world of Holly Freeman, and like her life, Holly's creations are rich, exotic and inspired. Holly has shown twice at the-situation modern, has exhibited twice in the last two months and has a solo show at the Viola Gallery in London 28th May to 4th June called "Once Upon The Street". Catch her whilst you still can.
